Solid advice on decking care. If the structure is kept in good condition, it will last for 25 to 50 years. Couple of additional tips which some readers might benefit from:

1. Never drag heavy objects on the surface of the deck. Use a helping hand to avoid damaging the wood / coating.

2. Soda crystals can be used to remove though stains. Simply water the deck and sprinkle soda crystals. Allow the deck to dry before washing it to remove any residue.

Enjoy!
